Seletti: sensational home décor between classic and modern

With the living room objects of the Italian brand Seletti, you will be transported into a non-conformist, playful and fascinating world where creativity is the trump card: for decades, the numerous product lines of the family-owned company have drawn their inspiration from a strong connection with the Far East. Both the founder, Romano Seletti, and his children, Stefano and Miria, have traveled and continue to travel to China, India and Thailand, not only to import products from there, but to be inspired by culture, craftsmanship and people. Thus, over time, the various branches of lighting, furniture, tableware and other objects in the home were born, where the creative minds of Seletti can live out their ideas on contemporary art and industrial design.

Seletti designers know how to combine

Simple, but only at first glance classic, comes the collection Estetico quotidiano: Made of fine porcelain, the bowls, sugar bowls and coffee mugs reinterpret the typical "throwaway" packaging. For example, the coffee mugs look like the plastic cups of a coffee to go, while the sugar bowl mimics the aesthetics of a tin can. The classic white makes the dinnerware objects look classy, while the fancy, modern designs will put a smile on your face every time you use them. Seletti also shows its playful side with designs such as the Submarino accessory set for the bathroom , which brings humor and fantasy into your everyday life: the set with a soap dispenser and space for the toothbrush as well as two compartments for small items is based on the colors of a submarine and is also available in colorful shades at Madeindesign. Also colorful and quite different in style from the service Estetico quotidiano appears the Hybrid collection, an exuberant mix of tradition and modernity that comes to bear in each object.

Seletti Lighting - Neon Art wall lamp or upcycling pendant?

Seletti also specializes in any type of lighting that not only brings light to the darkness, but also shines from an aesthetic point of view. In this regard, the various collections go in completely different, but always innovative directions: On the one hand, Seletti offers, for example, the Neon Art collection with various living room lights or wall lights in Pop Art design. On the other hand, you can choose one of the Egg of Columbus pendant lamps. These lamps made of recycled cardboard reinvent the classic form of the pendant lamp and still use the latest design trend, upcycling. The material of the lamps penned by Valentina Carretta is otherwise used for egg cartons and ends up in their living spaces in a stylish way.
